Topglass has completed our largest ever aluminium window, door, and curtain walling project to date at the Northern Regional College (NRC) Ballymena Campus. This was delivered in partnership with main contractor Heron Bros.

The landmark project showcases our technical expertise and capability in delivering large-scale façade solutions for complex educational developments. Building on this achievement, we are now on site and in full production at the Ballycastle Shared Education Campus. This is again working with Heron Bros to deliver another high-profile project within Northern Ireland’s education sector.

“The successful delivery of NRC Ballymena demonstrates both the strength of our partnership with Heron Bros and the growth of our production operations,” said Topglass’ Operations Manager, Hugh McCann. “. By continuing to invest in skills, innovation, and infrastructure, Topglass is setting new benchmarks in aluminium systems across the UK and Ireland.”

The Ballymena project was made possible by strategic investment in people and technology. Over the past year, we have increased our team by 40% and upgraded production equipment. This supported the assembly of record-breaking volumes of glazing and aluminium, including the Metal Technology systems specified on both campuses.
