Topglass Reach Milestone on Bank Buildings

As work continues this week on Belfast’s Bank Buildings, being developed by Bennett Construction for client Primark, Topglass will be delivering sizable specialist glass components. The installation of these bespoke glass elements, individually weighing up to 1 tonne, is an important milestone in the project’s refurbishment.

Topglass originally completed specialist glazing works on the iconic building in 2018 (pictured) prior to extensive and significant fire damage later that same year. Following the devastation caused by the blaze, a multimillion pound restoration project has been undertaken with the flagship store expected to reopen its doors in November this year. The return of the prominent department store is set to drive increased footfall to the area and provide a boost to the city centre high street.
