This week saw the doors reopening for the first time in over a decade on a prominent landmark in Bromley. Following its extensive regeneration Bromley's Old Town Hall has been given new life with the site now functioning as a mixed use development. On Monday serviced office provider Clockwise opened its flexible office, meeting and workstation spaces and, when fully launched later this year, the development will also boast a restaurant and boutique hotel.

Topglass are delighted to have provided the Pilkington Profilit system for the project. This highly specialist glazing is often favoured on refurbishment projects of this nature and successfully marries the heritage of the old with the modernity of the new. The inherent green of the glass types chosen for the scheme are in keeping with the existing colour palette and sensitive to the surrounding area, existing materials and Grade II Listed status of the town hall. Similar green tones can be seen in the interior design aspects including the restored green marble columns and externally in the original copper domed roof.
